We also looked at boats (note: that is not Ernest Thomas near Bob's home that is a different Ernest that lives there).
It was a nice time.
This is a bridge it is different bridge than a canal bridge because it goes upwards than sideways or down and
it helps the boat go through .
That is a school a long long time ago the teachers were very strict

Bob was moored at Swindon there.
We're at another lock with Lisa our crew.
Some locks where stiff some where not.

Something fishy

Yesterday we saw someone fishing in the canal
We saw perch roach bream and gudgeon
The net is called a Landing net it helps fishermen to catch the fish
So you take the maggot (scroll down if you want to see them) carefully out the mouth and you put the fish into a net underneath you. NOTE: do not  eat them they have been into the canal and canal water is bad expleashaly when you clean the outside there will still be canal water in the inside

The tiny fish is a gudgeon
These are maggots there baby flys  they are for the fishes to grab hold onto the fishing rod.
And these are casters they are what maggots turn into
Bye hope you enjoyed the blog post see you in the next post 😉
